Ahimsa Rescue Foundation

http://www.ahimsarescuefoundation.org/

Ahimsa Rescue Foundation is an all volunteer organization that rescues needy animals and adopts them to loving homes. There are no employees or paid staff at Ahimsa Rescue. Ahimsa Rescue operates by virtue of generous and compassionate volunteers who graciously and freely give their time, energy, and resources. They receive NO compensation other than the deep satisfaction in knowing that they are saving the lives of animals who are vigilant guards, relentless messengers, gentle baby-sitters, brave soldiers, hilarious clowns, and mostly, dear friends.

Safe Haven Animal Rescue, Inc

www.safehavenanimal.petfinder.com

Safe Haven Animal Rescue, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3), charitable rescue organization dedicated to finding homes for homeless and abandoned animals. This includes rescuing out of the OKC Shelter as much as possible. Although we concentrate mostly on rescuing dogs and cats, we periodically rescue pocket pets and exotics. We have rescued many mice and rats, a few guinea pigs, an iguana and 3 ferrets. We also try to improve the quality of life for feral cats which includes getting them spayed or neutered and eventually tested for FELV/FIV, fully vaccinated, and relocated to farms where there is safety for them. At this time, Safe
Haven Animal Rescue, Inc. is limited to finding homes for dogs and cats who are being cared for in foster homes and boarded by local veterinarians.

Once you have been approved to adopt a pet from us there is a fee of $65 for cats & kittens and $70 for dogs & puppies. These fees allow us to assure you that your adopted pet is already spayed/neutered, wormed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and ticks and healthy. All cats are FVRCPC and Rabies vaccinated, tested for FIV and FeLV and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. All dogs are DHLPP and Rabies vaccinated, tested for heart worms, ehrlichia and lyme disease, placed on heart worm preventative and spayed/neutered prior to adoption.

Rainbow Bridge Can Wait

Rainbow Bridge Can Wait is a small not for profit rural rescue working towards my 501 (c) 3; I mainly pull from local high kill shelters. All are evaluated, vaccinated heart worm tested, and Spay/Neutered. As there is only one of me and so many loving companions in need of homes I am only able to house and care for about 30, the rest in the pound are posted on my site, they only have a few days before being put to sleep. All animals adopted from Rainbow Bridge Can Wait are also eligible for Shelter Care Insurance, one month free of food, puppies and small dogs (25 lbs and under) also get a puppy kit which contains one month of heartguard and coupons for frontline plus. I can not tell you if the pound dogs are house trained and so on I can tell you training a dog is not rocket science…positive reinforcement, reputation and patience is the key, and no matter what they did they don’t deserve to die.
I operate mainly on adoption fees which start at $75.00 and up.
Please be sure to stop by my home page, it will explain in better detail.

Friends with Four Paws

We'd love to give you our info with a little bit about us so you can help promote us!!! We're a non-profit based out of Ninnekah Oklahoma (near Chickasha) and we save dogs from the Chickasha Shelter which regularly euthanizes their dogs. Last month we were able to save 17 dogs from the shelter. This month so far we've taken almost 25 dogs to rehome. We have about 17 puppies right now and 14 adults. We are not breed specific and solely rely on donations from the public. We have no private sponsors, and are always looking for more volunteers.
